Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the full terms): The Shortlist is part of the TAG Ecosystem, so the TAG Ecosystem Terms of Service apply, plus the Shortlist-specific terms below. Our scores and suggestions are guidance, not a guarantee of interviews or jobs. We help you describe your real experience — we don’t invent experience, and you may not use The Shortlist to misrepresent yourself. The monthly plan renews until you cancel; the 90-Day Pass never renews and can be refunded within 7 days if you haven’t used resume tailoring.

1. These terms and the TAG Ecosystem Terms

The Shortlist (tagshortlist.com, “The Shortlist”) is operated by Tossie Advisory Group, LLC (“TAG,” “we,” “us”) and is part of the TAG Ecosystem. By creating an account, running a QuickScan, purchasing a plan or service, or otherwise using The Shortlist, you agree to the TAG Ecosystem Terms of Service (the “TAG Terms”) and to these Shortlist Additional Terms. As the TAG Terms provide, if these Additional Terms conflict with the TAG Terms, these Additional Terms control for The Shortlist only. The TAG Terms’ sections on intellectual property, prohibited conduct, AI-generated output, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution (including binding individual arbitration and the class action waiver) apply to The Shortlist in full.

2. What The Shortlist provides

The Shortlist offers QuickScan resume scoring, The Match job search, the ATS/OPM Scanner (“Make the Cut”), The Read resume tailoring, and the Done For You Read Resume Service. Features available to you depend on your plan. Some features are released in stages; a feature labeled with a future date is not yet available.

3. Honest resumes

The Shortlist is built on the No-Embellishment Pledge: suggestions are based on experience you provide, and gaps are flagged for you to answer rather than filled in. You are responsible for making sure everything on your resume is true. You may not use The Shortlist to fabricate or misrepresent experience, credentials, employers, dates, or results, or to deceive any employer or government agency.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

QuickScan scores, fit scores, keyword findings, job matches, and federal checks are estimates for educational and informational purposes. TAG does not guarantee that any resume will pass any applicant tracking system or federal review, or that you will receive interviews, job offers, or employment. Job listings come from third parties; TAG does not verify employers or listings. The Shortlist is not affiliated with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) or USAJOBS.

5. Plans, billing, and renewal

Free. Limited use as described on the pricing page. Limits may change.
Self-Serve Monthly ($49/month). Billed in advance through Stripe and renews automatically each month at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Billing link in your account; access continues to the end of the paid month. Monthly fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
90-Day Pass ($119, one-time). Gives Self-Serve access for 90 days from purchase. It does not renew and you will not be charged again unless you buy another pass. Usage limits on the pass apply to the full 90 days combined.
Veteran rate. The 15% veteran discount is for U.S. military veterans. By selecting it you confirm you are eligible; TAG may ask for verification and may reverse the discount or end access if the confirmation was false.
Usage limits. Each plan has limits shown on the pricing page. TAG may adjust limits to prevent abuse and will not reduce a paid plan’s limits during a period you have already paid for.

6. 90-Day Pass refunds

You may request a full refund of a 90-Day Pass within 7 days of purchase, as long as you have not used The Read resume tailoring under that pass. Email support@tagshortlist.com from the email on your account. After 7 days, or once tailoring has been used, the pass is non-refundable. A refunded pass ends immediately.

7. Done For You (Read Resume Service)

Done For You orders are fulfilled by TAG staff under the Resume Services section of the TAG Terms. Price, number of target jobs, and turnaround (3 business days, or 48 hours with rush) are shown at checkout; turnaround begins once payment and your intake details are received. If you hold an active Self-Serve plan or pass when you order, $49 is credited at checkout. Once work on your order has started, fees are non-refundable.

8. Your content

QuickScan reads your resume file on your own device and sends only its text for scoring; we keep your scores and results, not your resume text. Resumes you submit for Done For You are stored and shared with the TAG staff who prepare your packet. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

TAG may update these Additional Terms. Each version is identified by its date above. Material changes will be posted here and, where required, you will be asked to accept them before continuing to use The Shortlist.
